Passionate about helping others is the best way to describe Sensei Dave.
I grew up in foster care, juvenile detention, and group homes. My mother died when I was only 12 years old, leaving me with an abusive stepfather who didn't even want me. I ran the streets to survive. "Trauma" was an everyday experience for me.
So how...how did I end up retired in Greece after serving 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, running 3 martial arts schools, teaching and mentoring 1000s of youth & adults, receiving numerous awards, running nonprofit orgs, and well...becoming what most would consider "SUCCESSFUL"?
